5.02.7 Sprout & Grow Window Farm with Wonder Soil This transparent 'nature's window' allows gardeners of all ages to watch seeds sprout and grow into plants - right before their eyes! The large, transparent Sprout & Grow Window stands upright on a tabletop or windowsill. Special potting soil nurtures seeds for optimum growth. Comes with packets of bean and pea seeds, and a step-by-step guide with instructions, suggested activities, and journal pages to fill in as you follow the process from seed planting to full-grown plants.
6.75 Mighty Magnet



Use of a magnet
1. Place our large red magnet into our Medium Wooden Tray (1.05.5) with a basket of metal and non-metal objects and place a felt cloth underneath.
2. Invite a child to join you and carry the materials to a table.
3. Lay out the felt mat and arrange the materials neatly in order of use.
4. Introduce the magnet, "this is a magnet, it attracts things. Let's discover which objects it will attract."
5. Remove a metal objects from the basket and place it on the felt mat.
6. Hold the magnet close to the object - it will be attracted to the magnet.
7. Invite the child to try.
8. Place it to one side as shown in our picture.
9. Repeat the procedure for a non-metal object. It will not be attracted to the magnet. Place it to the other side.
10. Invite the child to continue sorting the items according to wether or not they are attracted to the magnet.
6.76 Magnetic Wand This set includes a medium-size magnet and two magnetic marbles.
6.77 Motorized Solar System

The “sun” shines onto the nine planets as they orbit around it. The central tower and planetary support rods are black so that they “disappear” in a darkened room for a spectacular effect! Replace the solar dome with the star dome included to create a spectacular planetarium sky complete with major constellation names. In addition the base features a special 1000-hour light bulb and planetary longitude marks so the planets can be set up to their correct positions. The Solar System model is powered either by four C batteries (not included) or by an optional AC adapter (included).
