A wooden box with lid and two adjacent hinged sides containing 8 wooden cubes and prisms painted red, blue, and black. The box is hinged and opens out to display the cubes. The lid is printed with the binomial square pattern.
This cube represents the equation (a + b + c)3 in concrete form and differs from the Trinomial Cube in that the component pieces are color-coded to represent hierarchical values from 1 unit to 1 million.
This makes it possible for the child to equate an arithmetical value to each of the cubes and prisms.
The Power of 3 Cube consists of a dissected cube in 13 pieces painted yellow, green and white.
Demonstrates the power of 3 by progressively tripling the previous piece, starting with a two centimeter cube. That cube is then triples with two similar cubes. Those three cubes are then tripled with two 6 x 2 x 2 centimeter prisms, eventually creating an 18 centimeter cube.
There are 3 different patterns providing different levels of tactile stimulation.
The bottom side has three anti-slip rubber discs to provide traction.
