Montessori Pink Series Picture & Word Card Set

This complete Montessori Pink Series card set includes 60 laminated picture cards and 60 matching word cards.

The material supports the child’s transition from concrete objects to the more abstract work of matching pictures and written words. After working with Pink Series objects, the child continues with familiar pictures and matching word cards, gradually moving toward independent reading from cards.

The word cards feature short phonetic words. Most are simple three-letter words, allowing the child to hear and read the sounds from left to right.

Children may match each picture card with its word card, build the words with the Movable Alphabet, sort cards by vowel sound, and gradually read the word cards independently.

The set supports early reading, writing, vocabulary development, and confidence with phonetic decoding. Its card-only format gives teachers flexibility to select and organize the cards according to the child’s readiness.

Picture cards measure 7.5 × 7.5 cm (2.95 × 2.95 in), and word cards measure 7.5 × 4.0 cm (2.95 × 1.57 in).
